When a patient requires a higher level of medical attention (such as worsening pain that cannot be managed at home), we provide comprehensive short-term care within our hospice home. Our skilled team focuses on managing symptoms and ensuring comfort, all within a warm and homelike setting.

Respite Care
Caring for someone is a deeply meaningful experience, but it can also take a toll on those providing that care. Our respite program offers temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing them to take the time they need to rest while their loved one continues to receive compassionate and professional support. Medicare may cover up to five consecutive nights of respite care for eligible hospice patients, helping caregivers step away when they need it most.

Bereavement Counseling
In addition to our core hospice services in Lenawee County and surrounding areas, including Jackson, Hillsdale, Washtenaw, and Monroe Counties, we provide bereavement counseling to the families we have served, as well as anyone in the community who has experienced a loss. Our support options are available for adults, children, teens, and organizations, including schools.
